Nestled on the edge of Chief's Island, deep within the heart of the Okavango Delta and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, Delta Bushcamp offers an unforgettable safari experience.

This extraordinary camp provides exceptional value for money, focusing on a quiet, slow, and intensely personal exploration of the African bush. Accompanied by your own professional guide, a local expert, you'll enjoy a personalized safari experience with a maximum of two guests per guide. To minimize disturbance to the environment, there are no motorized activities, emphasizing a harmonious connection with nature.

The camp offers a comfortable and relaxing environment with amenities such as a satellite viewing deck, a chill zone with hammocks, a common area and sitting room, a raised viewing deck overlooking the Boro River, a small library, chess, and a selection of games. Additionally, the camp provides direct access to Chief's Island. The camp accommodates 28 guests in 14 spacious 3m x 3m canvas rooms, including two family units. Thoughtfully designed and set on elevated wooden decks, these rooms offer a comfortable and secluded retreat. Enjoy the privacy of en-suite outdoor showers and ablutions, complete with hot and cold running water. A small deck provides a peaceful spot to relax and admire the stunning scenery. This is a family-friendly destination, welcoming guests of all ages. With two family units and no age restrictions, the camp ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience for families. The camp is happy to accommodate alternative dining times and prepare simple food for children, and provides games and reference books to keep young ones entertained.

The Okavango Delta is a wildlife haven, and you will have abundant opportunities to encounter a variety of species. Expect to see buffaloes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, antelopes. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the over 450 species of birds that inhabit the Delta, including many rare and endangered species.

The camp is committed to sustainability and environmental conservation. The camp utilizes solar panels for power generation and solar heating for water, and takes measures to minimize its impact on the environment. The local village, Sedibana, is a 30-45 minute journey from the camp, where they have a long-standing relationship with the community, supporting local development and initiatives.

Access: Accessible only by light aircraft, the camp is a 20-minute flight from Maun or a 50-minute flight from Kasane. It is conveniently located within 15-30 minutes of most other camps in the area.
